# Code of Conduct
PED is meant to be useful to people working through real governance and
delivery pressure. The project should stay direct, practical, and welcoming to
people who bring different operational contexts.
## Expected Behavior
- Be respectful and precise.
- Critique ideas, examples, and assumptions rather than people.
- Share context when disagreeing.
- Make room for organizations at different maturity levels.
- Prefer concrete examples over broad claims.
## Unacceptable Behavior
- Harassment, threats, or personal attacks
- Dismissive comments about people or organizations
- Deliberate derailing of technical or governance discussions
- Publishing private information without permission
- Bad-faith participation
## Enforcement
Maintainers may remove comments, close discussions, or restrict participation
when behavior makes the project less useful or less safe for contributors.
If you need to report a concern, open a private maintainer contact path once
the project has one. Until then, avoid posting sensitive reports publicly.
